Prendere il sole per la salute

When you're looking to soak up the sun's healing power, here are some tips to keep in mind:

Plan Your Exposure: Do not try to get all your sunbathing done in just two or three weeks of the year. Instead, spread it out over a longer period.

If you want to achieve a tan, pay close attention to how your tan develops gradually. Test your sun tolerance first before exposing sensitive areas and avoid burning. Red, inflamed skin is a bad sign. Your tan will last longer if you expose your skin gradually to the sun.

Be sure to obtain the full spectrum of the sunlight, so avoid covering yourself with sunscreen or sunblock when sunbathing for health. You can use sunscreen at other times of the day. Frequent short exposures to sunlight are better than prolonged exposure.

Se si è highly sensitive to sunlight, start by sunbathing your feet, then your legs and arms, before gradually exposing your abdomen and chest with great caution. Wear a protective hat to protect the thin, sensitive skin of your face, head, and neck.

Evitare l'eccessiva esposizione al sole. The air temperature when you sunbathe for health should not be above 18°C. The best time of year to sunbathe is in the Spring and early Summer. Early morning sunshine is particularly beneficial, so aim to start sunbathing just after dawn.

If you're traveling to a hotter or colder climate, give your body time to adjust by taking a series of air baths for a few days before you start sunbathing.

Mangia cibi integrali instead of refined foods.
